WFDU hits a 53-year milestone

On August 30, 1971, at 12 noon, WFDU-FM began broadcasting to the New York Metropolitan Area from its transmitter located at the historically significant Armstrong Field Laboratory in Alpine, New Jersey.

Award of Artistic Excellence
